These posters aim to encourage the public to discover opera and ballet at the Royal Opera House.
Poster advert 1 : (3 posters - black and white sketchy background) This promotional campaign stresses the fact that the Royal Opera and Ballet, is an experience for everyone and is open to all. These adverts remove the stereotypical idea that opera and ballet attract a stuffy, up-tight crowd and rather, promote it as being a part of our lives, a drama that surrounds us and we experience in our day-to-day life.
Poster advert 2: (Black background with pink copy) This advert promotes the opera and ballet simultaneously. At first glance the audience will see sound waves and will most likely interpret this advert as a promotion for the incredible sound of the Royal Opera House. Once one discovers that the sound waves are made up of text, the viewer will then tilt their head to the left, to read it's content. Having done that, the viewer will discover the full story of the opera, Eugene Onegin (which has been shown at the Royal Opera House).
